Keeping up with technological innovations in our industry is a task of high importance to us at Perth Audiovisual.

We not only need to know what new technologies exist, but we also need to know how to use them in order to recommend them with confidence to our customers.

Our technical satff recently completed extensive training in the design and use of Extrons configurable control systems. This innovative range allows the control of all aspects of an AV system via an elegant touchsceen.

The most practical benefit of this range is that is easily configured to control the required functions of various makes and models of AV equipment.

Traditionally such touch screen control systems have been based on a programmable system where computer code must be created, and loaded, for each and every function of each an every component.

The Extron configurable system only needs to identify the various components and it automatically loads the required functions to integrate and operate the system. Our technicians then create a Graphical User Interface, custom made for each client, and the touchscreen control panel is ready for use.

Obvioulsy, this offers siginicant cost reduction to our customers which now permits us to design these sophisticated systems into a greater range of applications.
