    Price:
    $88.00
    per day

If you want be taken seriously as a professional DJ you're going to need the skills, obviously, but you're also going to need the gear to match. No matter where your music-destiny takes you, the Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 is up to the task. Since its introduction in 2001, Pioneer's flagship CDJ has been used so often by so many of the world's top DJs that the name "CDJ-1000" has almost become shorthand for "CD deck." When you show up to your next gig with a pair of CDJ-1000MK3's in tow, everyone will know you mean business.

Beyond pure name recognition, the CDJ-1000MK3 has the features, effects and fidelity that'll get your skills noticed. Any CD player can play music, but to call this deck a "CD Player" would be an insult. The CDJ-1000MK3 is more an instrument than a mere implement, and no matter whether you're used to CD decks or vinyl turntables, the intuitive layout and responsive feel will be instantly familiar.

Vinyl Feel Without The Vinyl Noise
Any serious turntablist knows how important feel is to their art. A big part of the appeal of spinning vinyl is the intimate connection between your hands and the music stored on those grooved and groovy discs. Unfortunately, the vinyl medium has its fair share of drawbacks. Delicate hardware like needles and tonearms, and noisy phono connectors that are susceptible to ground hum can be major headache-inducers. Then there's the records themselves, which are a pain to store and transport safely, and wear out quickly anyway, even under normal use. CDJ-1000MK3's eliminate all those problems while recreating the tactile experience of scratching on LP platters. At the literal and figurative center of the CDJ's design is its 7.5" jog-wheel. With the deck in "Vinyl Mode" you can interact with this jog wheel the same way you would a spinning record: your cut, cue, scratch, nudge, fast-forward and reverse moves are all read with laser-accuracy. You can even set stops and starts to ramp up or down, and playback can be stopped on a dime by pressing down on the top of the wheel. Just about any move you can do on a vinyl turntable can be performed on a CDJ-1000MK3, and in pristine, CD-quality sound. The jog wheel is also resistance-adjustable, so you can fine-tune it to your own touch.

Digital Sampling And Looping Built Right In
High-fidelity and reliable media aren't the only benefits digital audio and the CDJ-1000MK3 have to offer. Integrated digital sampling effects make the CDJ-1000MK3 much more than just a CD-turntable, and all sampler functions are easily accessible via the deck's intuitive layout. Three "Hot Cue" points, each with their own dedicated button, can be used to capture and trigger samples on the fly for one-shot accents or stutter effects. Real-time looping is a breeze, too; loop in- and out-points can be adjusted during playback, and everything can be digitally locked to tempo, an impossibility with analog vinyl decks. Loops and samples can be stored on removable MMC or SD media (an SD card is included) so you can revisit your favorites whenever you want. With the CDJ-1000MK3, all these advanced turntablist techniques will be at your fingertips, no additional sampling gear required.

    CDJ Got Your Back
Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3's boast a lot of features that'll help you impress club audiences and promoters, but they also boast features that'll keep you from ever leaving a bad impression, too. You know what we're talking about: you go to cut from deck one to deck two, only to see that your CD has somehow half-managed a daring escape from its player, and the club is enveloped in a deafening silence as all eyes turn towards you, wondering why you killed their buzz. With the CDJ-1000MK3's CD-eject-lock button, that scenario will be nothing more than a bad dream. Additionally, auto-buffering anti-skip memory and an oil-dampened, vibration-absorbing shock mounting help ensure that playback never stops unless you want it to. You'll only perform better knowing these safety features negate the possibility of potentially embarrassing situations that might keep you from booking the gig next time.

Every DJ strives to maintain a perfect balance between artistry and professionalism. The Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3 is the one CD Deck that most perfectly embodies that philosophy, and is the one piece of gear that, no matter how big you get, will always keep pace.

    1. USB Integration and MP3 Playback
The CDJ-400’s cosmetic design is simple and compact yet elegant with all of its various controls and features located directly on top of the unit. A USB port found on the face of the player allows DJs to play their MP3 music collection from a wide variety of portable music devices such as thumb drives, MP3 players or external hard drives.

So when MIDI is the message, the CDJ-400 definitely delivers. For example, a DJ can connect the CDJ-400 to a PC or MAC and play and manipulate files from their favourite DJ application software - such as Pioneer DJS or Serato Scratch - and this doesn’t even require a time-code disc to be used in the deck.

    3. New illuminated Jog Wheel

    4. World’s First Scratch Jog Effect
A highlight and an advancement of the CDJ-400 is its scratching capability. In addition to traditional “vinyl” mode scratching, Pioneer implemented the world’s First Scratch Jog Effect. Three highlighted buttons, each assigned to a special effect, Bubble, Trans and Wah, creates unique scratching sound effects that can be enabled by the DJ on the fly. A “hold” button was also added to retain the different effects throughout the session or until its release, which can also be triggered at any point of play.

    5. New Beat Loop Divide
Making the magic of live mash-up even more manageable, the new Beat Loop Divide facility rhythmically dices loops to fashion beats with drama, intrigue or whatever your desired effect. • Pioneer DJM600 Dj Mixer
    Price:
    $66.00
    per day

    Auto BPM Counter
Equipped with a counter that automatically measures and digitally displays a track's BPM measurement range:
    70-139 / 91-180 / 71-180 / Manual
The DJM600 provides a visual confirmation of a track's tempo to allow the user to merge one song into another smoothly. Also, BPMs of tracks that are difficult to measure can be manually input by tapping on the TAP button.

    Auto Beat Sampler
This is a new DJ function that allows you to sample your favourite sources and play them back easily at the touch of a button. The BPM is measured digitally and recorded automatically exclusively for designated beats
    ( 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 ) beats,
    Maximum interval: 6 seconds.

If set to the Stand-By mode when no sound is present, the function automatically starts and stops recording in response to the presence and absence of the input signal and achieves the correct sampling with perfect timing. What's more, the user can edit the end position, making possible a wide diversity of playback effects by making use of three playback mode options and the cross fader start.

SINGLE PLAY: Plays back the recorded sound once only when the button is being pressed.

LOOP PLAY: Plays back the recorded sound repeatedly when the button is pressed.

STRETCH LOOP PLAY: Extends or shortens the recorded sound in accordance with the mixed track's BPM and plays back the sound repeatedly.

    Auto Beat Effector
Linked to BPM, the DJM600 can add effects to each CH, MIC and MASTER independently. The user can produce music that makes full use of high-level DJ techniques by performing quick setting with the Beat Unit Switch button, adjusting the precise time parameters, or controlling the balance between the effect sounds and the original sounds by varying the mix ratio. Moreover, even when using the fader, it is possible to leave just the effect sounds without linking to BPM.

DELAY: Repeats a sound once. The user can set the delay to their desired tempo.

ECHO: Repeats a sound several times. The user can set the echo sound to their desired tempo.

AUTO PAN: Automatically shifts the sound to the right and left. Also capable of short auto pan sequences that would be impossible via manual operation.

AUTO TRANS: Periodically cuts the sound.

AUTO FILTER: Periodically varies the sound colour.

FLANGER: Periodically reproduces a sound effect resembling a jet airplane ascending and descending.

REVERB: Reproduces a reverberating sound effect.

PITCH SHIFTER: Allows the interval to be freely varied throughout a range of +/-1 octave. With this, the user can compensate for interval changes when using Analogue turntables or for tempo changes when different makers' CD players are used. Additionally, choruses can be made by employing mix ratios.

EXTERNAL EFFECT INPUT (SEND/RETURN): Allows the user to connect the mixer to an external effector or sampler, etc.

    Headphone Monitor Split
When the Headphone Output switch is set to MONO SPLIT, the right channel becomes the master and the left channel becomes the CH sound. Choosing Plural with the headphone cue, the user can also hear mixed sound. Moreover, this function can perform right and left level adjustment, thereby making monitoring easier.

    Fader Start Play
Connected to the CDJ Series, the DJM600 can begin playback of a track using the sliding cross fader or the channel fader. It can mix tracks without creating spaces by setting the stand-by track's cue point and performing a single-action cut-in. Since it returns to the cue point via the back fader alone, sampler-style playback is also possible. Start/back play of sources recorded using the built-in sampler is also possible using the cross fader.

    Equalizers
The DJM600 is equipped with a separate HI/MID/LOW 3-band equalizer for each channel. This arrangement allows the stress of the instrument sounds to be adjusted within the range -26dB to +12dB for an improvement of about 100% (Pioneer comparison) in sound extraction.

    OTHER FUNCTIONS

CROSS FADER CURVE: Choose from three types of cross fader start-up option.

TALK OVER: Mutes -14db all levels apart from the microphone.

PEAK LEVEL METER: Allows the user to instantly determine the source input condition for each channel to make possible certain operation without loss time.

TRIM: Track input level composition is available. This function is compatible with diverse sound sources.

INDEPENDENT MONITOR SWITCH: Enables independent or simultaneous monitoring of each CH, MIC, MASTER and EFFECT.

BOOTH MONITOR OUTPUT: Utilizing independent output terminals for booth monitor use, this function allows the sound volume to be independently controlled at the upper surface.

All faders, knobs, volume controls, buttons, etc., are made to
professional-grade SS-use high-durability specifications and designed to stand up to hard use.

    • Height adjustable tone arm with anti-skating control
